Bring 1-2 inches of water in a saucepan with a steamer basket to a boil on the stovetop.
Combine all ingredients except water together in a bowl.
Add in the water and quickly mix to form a thick dough.
Use spray oil to lightly grease the inside of the steamer basket. Then, break the dough into small bite-sized chunks and place in the steamer basket.
Cover the pot and let steam for 10 minutes.
Heat a frying pan under medium-high. Once steamed, use tongs to remove the seitan bites from the steamer basket and place in the pan.
Continue to fry for another 5 minutes, flipping as needed so that each side gets crisp. Once done, you can flavour however you like with different seasonings and sauces!
